Among the latest 1:43 scale releases from customised promotional model vehicle specialists, Search Impex, is an interesting trio of models for Anglesey based Gwynedd Shipping Group. Three different trailer types have been commissioned - box van, curtain and flatbed, all with new style Volvo FH12 Globetrotter (6x2) tractor units. The flatbed trailer comes complete with lengths of aluminium rod - this being representative of a genuine load.
Established in 1984 as a freight logistics company shipping consignments between the UK & Ireland, Gwynedd Shipping has grown rapidly and now has offices in 7 locations. Known for operating a large (800 ) and also diverse trailer fleet, including box, curtain, flatbed, coil carrying units, double decks, multi-decks and extendable flatbeds, Gwynedd Shipping has the resources available to load and deliver up to 200 trailers in any one given day.
A small number of each model type is available to collectors at a cost of £98 for the curtain and box van trailers and £103 for the flatbed trailer with load. Prices include UK p&p & VAT.
