Gwynedd Shipping wins top safety award

GSG has scooped a prestigious international award from one of the world’s leading health and safety training, advisory and audit bodies.

Following rigorous assessment by an independent adjudication panel the British Safety Council has bestowed its esteemed International Safety Award upon us.

For an organisation to win this coveted award it must demonstrate that it has in place comprehensive health and safety policies, targeted plans and a clear commitment to health and safety from the shop floor to the boardroom. It must be committed to the promotion of a positive safety culture and provide clear evidence about the improvements it has achieved in health and safety during the previous year.

Through achieving an International Safety Award, GSG is striving to make the vision of a healthy and safe working environment a reality. The award recognises the crucial success that both the company, and it’s employees, have achieved in the pursuit of excellence in the management of health, safety and environmental matters at an international level.
